Input Expander (Break-In Box) BSS Soundweb London BLU-BIB

The BSS Soundweb London BLU-BIB analog input expander is a compact module that adds 8 mic/line analog inputs to a Soundweb London system. These input signals are converted to digital and transmitted over the BLU Link digital bus, which supports up to 256 channels and ensures reliable, low-latency communication between devices over distances up to 100 meters using Cat 5e cable or up to 40 km via fiber optics.

Channel range is configured using six DIP switches located on the rear panel, while input gain and phantom power are adjusted via front panel buttons. Power, signal, clip, and phantom power indicators provide clear visual monitoring of each input.

The BLU-BIB operates in three modes: Edit (allows settings adjustments), Normal (locks settings), and Stealth (disables LED indicators except power). The device features a half-rack chassis and can be mounted in a rack, on a wall, or under a table. It is powered by a 12V DC adapter included in the package.
