Updated microphone preamps and high-performance 96 kHz ADC / DAC and XCVI core ensure accurate transmission of every detail of the source, sound, while support for DEEP Processing and RackExtra FX adds professional capabilities proven by world tours.
Control and interface
The mixer is equipped with a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen with an updated interface that makes work intuitive and fast. 33 motorized 100 mm faders provide precise control, and channel displays with chromatic indicators allow you to quickly navigate. Additionally, 4 customizable layers and 8 soft keys are available. Remote control is provided for convenience via free apps for Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android.
Workflow
Qu maintains the ease of use of the “approach and mix” style, adding flexible routing alongside classic 1:1. Gain Assistant automatically adjusts gain for multiple channels, and Feedback Assistant eliminates problem frequencies with up to 16 filters. The built-in 32-channel automatic microphone mixer (AMM) makes the system ideal for conferences and panel discussions.
Record and playback
The integrated USB-C audio interface (32x32) allows for multi-channel recording and playback. The SD card slot supports modes (16x16 @ 96 kHz, 32x32 @ 48 kHz), and USB-A provides simple stereo recording and playback. The SLink port opens up the possibilities of connecting Everything I/O systems and other Allen & Heath consoles, providing up to 128x128 channels of 96 kHz.
Processing and effects
The XCVI Core operates at 96 kHz, and six multi-effects processors with separate stereo returns allow you to create a rich sound. There are 12 mixes available (6 mono and 6 stereo), four mono matrices and a main stereo output Main LR.
Connectivity
The mixer has a full set of inputs and outputs for any scenario: 32 XLR/Jack combo inputs, two TRS stereo inputs, 20 XLR outputs, two TRS outputs and one AES3 digital stereo output. There is also a headphone output and a 12V lamp socket.
Apps
Qu-MixPad is a live mixing tool for sound engineers, and Qu4You is an app for musicians that allows you to control your own monitor mix.
