HD 490 PRO Plus are made from high-quality components at the Sennheiser factory in Germany and assembled by hand in Romania. Thanks to carefully designed ergonomics, open ear cup construction with mesh covers, and lightweight materials, the headphones provide natural ventilation and comfort even during long hours of work, allowing full focus on the music.

The model comes with two pairs of detachable ear pads – one for mixing and one for production. Each pair is made from eco-friendly, durable materials and has unique acoustic properties, enabling efficient work with different frequency ranges. Ear pads are easily removable, washable, and replaceable if needed.

The headphones also include the proprietary dearVR MIX-SE plugin from Dear Reality, which turns your DAW into an optimal virtual mixing environment. The plugin accurately simulates professional studio acoustics and helps achieve a balanced, precise, and predictable mix translation across any playback system.

The cable can be connected to either the left or right earcup, the patented cable coil prevents structural noise, and channel markings in Braille facilitate use for visually impaired users. The headband features a removable pad, and the packaging is made from FSC-certified eco-friendly materials. The package also includes a branded carrying case and an additional headband pad.
