The Klark Teknik DN100 V2 is an updated version of the legendary active direct box, which has become an industry standard for professional musicians and sound engineers. The device preserves all the purity, dynamics, and character of the instrument. Thanks to its high headroom and wide dynamic range, the DN100 V2 easily handles high-output signals from active pickups or keyboards, preventing distortion and clipping.

At the core of the device is a meticulously designed analog circuit with a high-quality output transformer, ensuring a crystal-clear and musical sound. A built-in high-pass filter effectively cuts unwanted sub-low frequency hum without affecting the useful signal. This allows for the precise capture of every performance detail, from the lowest notes of a bass guitar to the subtlest nuances of acoustic instruments.

One of the key advantages of the DN100 V2 is its versatility. The DI box is equipped with combined inputs (XLR and two 1/4" TRS) that automatically adjust the input impedance. When an instrument is plugged into a 1/4" TRS jack, the impedance is 1 MΩ, which is ideal for passive guitar and bass pickups. When using the XLR input, the impedance is 20 kΩ, optimal for connecting line-level sources.

To combat unwanted noise and hum caused by ground loops, the DN100 V2 features full galvanic isolation. Transformers isolate not only the audio signal but also the power circuits, which, combined with the Ground Lift switch, guarantees an absolutely clean signal even in complex live situations with different power sources.

Built for the rigors of touring life, the DN100 V2 has an ultra-rugged aluminum chassis that reliably protects the internal electronics. Massive silicone rubber corners provide additional shock absorption and electrical insulation. For ease of use on a dark stage, the Pad and Ground Lift switches are brightly illuminated, allowing for an instant status check.
