Direct Box (DI-Box) Radial ProD2

The Radial ProD2 is a two-channel passive DI box designed to connect stereo keyboards, electronic drums, and other instruments to professional audio systems. Thanks to the high-quality Eclipse ET-DB2 transformers, it delivers a clean signal without noise or distortion, making it a great choice for both live performances and studio work.

Unlike active DI boxes, which can overload at high signal levels, the ProD2 uses transformer isolation, which not only eliminates hum and ground loops, but also adds natural analog coloration to the sound. This is especially important when working with digital instruments such as synthesizers, samplers, and drum machines that may have a harsh or overly dynamic attack.

The device is equipped with two 1/4” TS inputs, two balanced XLR outputs, and parallel Thru outputs for connecting amplifiers or monitor systems. A -15 dB Pad switch helps reduce signal levels to prevent overload, and a Ground Lift switch eliminates interference caused by ground noise.

A rugged 14-gauge steel enclosure ensures durability in harsh live environments, and the compact size makes the ProD2 easy to transport and install in river systems. Thanks to its passive design, the device does not require power, which greatly simplifies its integration into any sound system.
