Hardware controller dB Technologies CONTROL 24A

The dB Technologies CONTROL 24A is a compact but extremely functional next-generation controller that combines RDNet control capabilities with the transmission of up to four channels of digital audio over a single Cat-5 cable thanks to the A2NET protocol. This device integrates perfectly into the Aurora Net ecosystem and allows control of up to 64 speakers equipped with A2NET cards.

The CONTROL 24A connects to a computer via USB-C or TCP/IP network (Ethercon connector), allowing flexible control from Windows or macOS. On the rear panel are four XLR connectors that can serve as either 4 analog inputs or 2 digital AES/EBU inputs. An AES/EBU output is also provided to connect to a second unit.

The unit has two Cat-5 outputs with A2NET support as well as a backup power function. The informative 1.54" e-paper display shows the IP address, number of connected devices and other important parameters, remaining readable even without power. Rack mounting is available with the RMK-1 accessory.
