Signal processor BSS Soundweb London BLU-50

The BSS Soundweb London BLU-50 is a compact audio processor with a fixed configuration that includes 4 analog inputs and 4 outputs. It supports both microphone and line-level signals via balanced Euroblock connectors and allows each channel's gain to be adjusted in 6 dB steps up to +48 dB, with phantom power available per channel for condenser microphones. All essential parameters are easily monitored via front panel LED indicators, enabling operation without a PC.

The BLU-50 supports the BLU link digital audio bus, providing up to 48 audio channels with low latency and high reliability. Device-to-device connections are made using standard CAT5e cables up to 100 meters in length or fiber media converters for distances over 10 km. The BLU-50 can be powered via an external power source (12–48V DC), the included power adapter, or PoE+ via the Ethernet port — enabling power, control, and audio data over a single cable.

Configuration and monitoring are handled via the free HiQnet Audio Architect software, which allows integration with other Soundweb London devices. Compatible with the full 256-channel BLU link network and supporting up to 60 devices on a single bus, the BLU-50 is ideal for scaling large audio installations.

It features 12 control inputs and 6 logic outputs (GPIO) for external integration, as well as RS-232 and Ethernet ports. With its half-rack-width compact form factor and light weight (1.28 kg), the unit installs easily into any system.
