ART HeadAmp 6 PRO is a six-channel stereo headphone amplifier that provides excellent functionality and flexibility in use. Each channel has its own auxiliary input. The output channels also feature a dual balance control feature that allows you to pan between the left and right sides of the main signal or change the mix between the main signal and the auxiliary input for each individual channel.
Unlike the HeadAmp 6, the HeadAmp 6 PRO model has bass and treble controls on each output channel for fine-tuning the tone (± 12 dB >10 kHz shelving and ± 12 dB <100 Hz shelving). Outputs are represented on both the front and rear panels by 1/4” TRS stereo connectors for convenient installation and quick connection. Two Mono buttons on each channel allow you to choose between four operating modes: 1) Stereo, 2) Mono Left, 3) Mono Right, and 4) Mono Both (Left and Right).
The main outputs for each channel of the headphone amplifier are located on the rear panel with stereo TRS connectors and connected in parallel with the corresponding connectors on the front panel. The outputs on the front or rear panel can be used simultaneously to connect headphones or as power for additional headphone amplifiers in a distributed audio network.
Input connectors include balanced XLR and 1/4-inch TRS inputs with matching "Thru" connectors for connecting multiple HeadAmp 6 PRO devices. An additional stereo 1/4” TRS connector on the front panel allows you to quickly connect any stereo source, replacing the rear inputs. Eight-segment LED signal level indicators on all channels and the main signal provide visual control of the signal level.
