The QSC GXD8 amplifier combines high power, advanced technology, and reliability. Its 2U rack-mountable chassis houses the latest Class D components, providing high efficiency with compact size and low weight. The GXD8 delivers 800 watts per channel at 8 ohms and 1200 watts per channel at 4 ohms, achieving a total peak power of up to 4500 watts.
One of the main features of the QSC GXD8 is its built-in digital signal processing (DSP), which allows users to optimize the performance of their audio systems. The DSP processor includes 20 factory presets for different configurations, ensuring easy setup. Processing includes high-pass (High-Pass) and low-pass (Low-Pass) filters, a four-band parametric equalizer, signal delay, and RMS/Peak limiters. An intelligent speaker protection system helps prevent damage by selecting protection levels (Mild, Medium, Aggressive) based on the speaker's power and impedance.
The front panel features a large LCD showing signal levels, device status, and four status indicators. Two knobs and three menu buttons provide full control over all amplifier parameters, including gain adjustment and DSP settings.
The rear panel is equipped with parallel XLR and 1/4” TRS inputs for connecting any signal sources, as well as output terminals and Speakon NL4 connectors suitable for both single and multi-way speakers.
