AlphaTheta by Pioneer DDJ-FLX2 is a DJ controller that combines the basic functions of a mixer in a compact body and is designed for beginners. To work with the controller, you need to download one of the supported applications on a PC, smartphone or MAC.
The DDJ-FLX2 offers 2 channels for mixing tracks. Each channel has a jog wheel, tempo slider, 8 pads, Cue and Play/Stop keys, Beat Sync, and a Shift key to access hidden functions. In the center of the controller is a mixer section that includes separate volume controls, a 3-band equalizer and headphone listening keys for each channel, as well as a cross fader with Smart Fader function.
The controller is connected via a USB Type C connector. Supported applications include rekordbox (Mac/Windows, iOS/Android), djay (Mac/Windows, iOS/Android), Serato DJ Lite or Serato DJ Pro. Another feature of this controller is its support for various music streaming services. The controller is compatible with Beatport Streaming, Beatsource Streaming, SoundCloud Go+/DJ and TIDAL. In addition, if you use the djay software or application, you can also access Apple Music.
The compact dimensions of the DDJ-FLX2 controller allow you to take it with you anywhere. Its dimensions are only 383 × 208 × 48 mm, and it weighs 1.2 kg. The controller is powered via USB Type C from the connected device (PC/Mac/smartphone). The DJ controller comes with a USB C-C cable, warranty, and user manual.
