With full control over four independent channels, event, club and live DJs can simultaneously mix tracks, samples, loops and more from four program decks. The Numark NS4FX is a multi-functional 4-channel DJ controller with full 4-deck audio control, FX switching, professional inputs and outputs, unleashing the full creative potential of event, club and broadcast DJs! Ideal for mobile DJs looking for a portable 4-channel DJ controller with XLR outputs and two mic inputs, this controller may well be suitable for live performances where a larger controller is not needed. The ability to connect microphones and AUX inputs to a computer's recording output is a terrific feature that is not commonly found in this price range.
Built for performance, the NS4FX features high-quality decks that have the look, feel and feel that have made Numark popular with DJs around the world. Each deck features dedicated high quality volume faders, large high and low pass filter knobs, and a 3-band EQ. The front panel crossfader assign switches let you assign each channel to side A or B, or bypass the crossfader entirely. The Numark NS4FX is about 600mm wide and weighs 3kg. Such a low weight is due to the fact that plastic predominates in its design. The controller has a gray finish, lighter than the typical black color of the controllers.
The NS4FX has an impressive array of connectivity options, making it the ideal solution. Ready for stage and studio use, the NS4FX is equipped with all the standard inputs and outputs that DJs are used to seeing. It features a balanced XLR main output, two 1/4" Jack mic inputs with dedicated volume and tone controls, and an additional RCA output for a personal monitoring system or an additional zone in a multi-zone sound system. For events or performances that require more than one microphone, The NS4FX features 2 independent 1/4" mic inputs with dedicated volume and tone controls. The Mic 1 input can be easily switched to the AUX option to allow playback of audio from a smartphone or external media device via the RCA inputs on the back of the controller. Live streamers will appreciate the fact that microphone audio is combined with the main music mix when output via USB, making it easy to stream online from a smartphone or computer without the need for an additional sound card or audio device.
The Numark NS4FX is optimized to work with Serato DJ, the world's most popular DJ software. The included Serato DJ Lite software is great for learning and allows DJs to mix with two channels right out of the box. For those who want to take it to the next level, upgrade to Serato DJ Pro, which allows full-featured 4-channel mixing. With Serato DJ Pro, DJs can also unlock additional pad modes, allowing them to use even more creativity when mixing.
