DJ Controller Pioneer DDJ-REV1

Getting started with a DJ console is a breeze when you have the Pioneer DDJ-REV1 controller at hand. This professional-quality two-deck DJ controller works seamlessly with Serato DJ Lite and DJ Pro software. It is equipped with a pair of enlarged jog wheels. 16 pads (8 per deck) provide Hot Cue, Auto Loop, Tracking and Sampler functions, as well as Beat Jump, Roll, Trans and Scratch Bank modes. On the center panel of the DDJ-REV1 is a 2-channel mixer with a built-in sound card. Each channel has a trimmer, 3-band EQ, 2-band Sound Color (HP/LP) filter and level fader. Beat FX can be triggered using the effects levers, which let you momentarily turn the effects on and off, or lock them in position. The controller can also control the 3rd and 4th decks using the Serato DJ software. For the first time in a Pioneer DJ controller of this level, the master output is integrated with microphone sound, eliminating the need for external equipment such as a sound card or separate mixer. All sounds are transferred to Serato DJ and you can stream from there. The Pioneer DDJ-REV1 is bus powered and comes with a USB cable.

The DDJ-REV1 provides room for mixing and scratching with a new control layout. The tempo sliders are longer than those on the DDJ-SB3 at 60mm for finer control. Sliders are positioned horizontally above the decks, and Performance Pads are positioned in the mixer section, allowing you to intuitively combine effects, trigger samples, and scratch tracks. With Lever FX in the mixer section, you can dynamically add textures to your music – pull down and hold the levers to apply effects from Serato DJ in short bursts. You can also push the levers up to lock out the effects and free your hands for scratching or browsing tracks. The Tracking Scratch feature will silently return the music to a cue point the moment you move the jog wheel back or remove your hand, saving you the hassle of closing the fader and looking for the right place on the track to start scratching again.
