The Pioneer DDJ-XP2 is a USB bus-powered sub-controller designed for DJs using rekordbox dj or Serato DJ Pro software. Any performer using turntables, multiplayers or external devices will enjoy a wide range of creative possibilities with this equipment. The DDJ-XP2 has an intuitive layout with 32 low latency multi-color pads, two touch strips for dynamic slide FX control, 16 operating modes including Hot Cue, Pad FX, Beat Jump and Sampler, as well as Auto-, Saved- and manual loop. Additional control options include Pitch Play, Roll, Slicer, Transport and Beatgrid Edit modes. In the Transport mode of both rekordbox dj and Serato DJ Pro, the pads can be used as music transport controls to play, pause, step up/down tracks, etc. To prevent the music from speeding up when the player rotates, turn on the Silent Cue function. When Hot Cues is enabled on a deck that is off, the music will instantly resume at the desired BPM. The DDJ-XP2 inherits the looping section from the flagship DJM-S9 scratch mixer to help you dominate every show. The durable construction and non-slip rubber coating allow it to withstand vigorous finger strikes.
