The Pioneer DJM-S5 DJ mixer is the perfect tool for those interested in battle mixing and scratching, or for beginners who want to dive into the world of DJing. It features an advanced MAGVEL FADER PRO crossfader that can be adjusted to get the optimal scratch resistance level. There's also the ability to control up to 57 effects in Serato DJ Pro with 2 large effect knobs reminiscent of those used on the flagship DJM-S11.
The mixer can be powered via USB from a computer, providing additional flexibility, especially for those using portable turntables. It can also work as a stand-alone mixer, allowing you to use different audio sources such as analog vinyl records. On its rear panel there are two RCA inputs for phono equalisers, and two RCA inputs for line sources, allowing you to connect analogue devices such as CD players. In addition, there is also a microphone input with an XLR / 1/4-inch combo jack.
The DJ Pioneer DJM-S5 has 13 pad modes, including Hot Cue and Sampler, allowing you to creatively experiment with music. There is also Scratch Cutter, which allows you to start scratching even without previous experience. With the Crossfader Hot Cue function, you can quickly create scratch-like sounds by moving the crossfader instantly.
Support for Serato DJ Pro and Serato DVS makes it versatile enough for a variety of DJ needs. And thanks to the built-in sound card, you can easily broadcast your sets without external equipment.
