Active PA Speaker dB Technologies B-Hype 8

dB Technologies B-Hype 8 is a compact, powerful, and versatile active speaker system designed for professional sound reinforcement of mobile performances, events, and presentations. Combining a lightweight enclosure, powerful Class D amplifier, and precise digital processor, the B-Hype delivers performance that exceeds its compact size.

The system is equipped with an 8-inch low-frequency driver with a 1.5-inch voice coil and a 1-inch compression driver with a 1-inch coil, providing a wide frequency range from 65 to 20,000 Hz. The maximum sound pressure reaches 120 dB, and the asymmetrical directivity pattern (85° at the top/120° at the bottom horizontally and 85° vertically) allows for more accurate coverage even in reverberant spaces.

The integrated DSP (48 kHz sampling rate, 28/56-bit processing) allows you to precisely control the sound using the built-in limiter (Peak, RMS, Thermal) and a convenient preset for boosting low and high frequencies. A combo input with MIC/LINE switch and XLR Link output provide flexible connection to signal sources and other speaker systems.

The polypropylene enclosure weighs only 6.6 kg and has three handles (two on the sides, one on top) for easy transport, a stand mount, and the ability to be used horizontally as a stage monitor.
