dB Technologies KL 12 is a versatile two-way active speaker system designed for professional sound reinforcement at concerts, presentations, DJ sets, and stage monitoring. It features a 12-inch woofer with a 2.5" voice coil and a 1-inch compression driver (1.35" voice coil), providing clear and rich sound across a wide frequency range of 52–18,000 Hz with a maximum sound pressure level of 127 dB.
At the heart of the system is an efficient 800 W amplifier (class D for LF and class AB for HF), controlled by a powerful DSP processor with 20/56-bit processing and phase-linear FIR filters. This technology ensures acoustic coherence and sound accuracy from any listening position. Four presets — Flat, Playback, Bass Boost, and Wedge — allow you to adapt the sound to different situations.
The KL 12 has three independent input channels: a combined XLR/Jack with a mic/line switch, a second XLR/TRS input, and a Bluetooth receiver for wireless connection of smartphones or tablets. An XLR output with a LINK/MIX mode switch is provided for connecting additional speakers or mixers.
The enclosure is made of impact-resistant polypropylene and features a modern design with a metal grille covering the entire front panel. The speaker system can be mounted on a stand (with tilt angles of 0° or 7.5°), used as a stage monitor, or mounted on dB Technologies subwoofers. The set includes a soft protective cover with a pocket for cables.
