Electro-Voice EVOLVE 70 is a new generation active column speaker system designed for large events with high demands on sound quality, power, and portability. It combines engineering excellence and modern technology to deliver flawless sound performance at concert venues, clubs, festivals, and corporate events.
The system features an array of eight 4.7-inch neodymium drivers with waveguides that form a wide 120° horizontal coverage pattern and 25° vertical coverage, allowing sound to spread evenly throughout the venue. Deep and accurate bass is provided by a 15-inch subwoofer with a 3-inch voice coil and an innovative laminar vent, allowing frequencies from 35 Hz and a maximum sound pressure of 133 dB to be achieved.
The total amplifier power is 2000 W, equally distributed between the LF and HF channels. The system's advantages include expanded connectivity options: two combo XLR/TRS inputs, XLR/RCA stereo input, AES/EBU digital interface, as well as Bluetooth® Stereo and QuickSmart Link. Control is via the proprietary EV QuickSmart mobile app.
The modular design of the EVOLVE 3-2-1 allows for quick assembly — three components connect in two clicks to form a single reliable system. The kit includes a cover for the top array and stands, and an additional trolley is provided for easy transport. EVOLVE 70 is available in black and white.
