Landscape Acoustics JBL Control 88M

The JBL Control 88M is a high-performance two-way landscape speaker designed for professional outdoor use. With its 360-degree coverage and wide frequency range (47 Hz – 16 kHz), it delivers clear and rich sound reproduction anywhere in the space. The system is ideal for hotels, resorts, restaurants, theme parks, sports venues, pool areas, and shopping centers.

The Control 88M is equipped with an 8-inch woofer with a polypropylene cone and polyurethane surround, as well as a 1-inch polyester dome tweeter. The 38 mm diameter voice coil on a Kapton former provides high power and long-term reliability. A high-slope crossover provides natural sound balance, and SonicGuard™ protection prevents damage from overload.

The enclosure is made of 6 mm LDPE polyethylene, which is resistant to moisture, UV rays, and mechanical damage. IP56 protection ensures reliable operation in rain, dust, and temperature fluctuations. The built-in transformer (up to 60 W) allows the system to be used in both 70/100 V networks and 8-ohm installations. Installation is as simple as possible thanks to the split enclosure system and convenient cable entries.
