The Monitor Audio IWS-10 In Wall is a compact and powerful in-wall subwoofer specially designed to integrate with ceiling and wall speakers. It is ideal for those who want rich bass in a limited space without sacrificing sound quality. The IWS-10 subwoofer can be mounted on the wall, ceiling or even on the floor, providing versatility in use. Its design is optimized for installation with the optional IWB-10 enclosure, although it is not required for its operation.
The IWS-10 is equipped with a 10” driver made of 10mm thick RDT material, which provides excellent rigidity and low frequency accuracy. This material was borrowed from the high-end Monitor Audio Platinum series, known for its acoustic excellence. Thanks to the large vented pole, the driver provides efficient airflow, reduces compression and increases heat dissipation, which contributes to stable operation even under high loads.
Installation is made easy with the Tri-Grip mounting system, which provides a secure and sturdy fit. Its grille and frame without decorative elements can be painted to blend in with any interior.
For optimum performance, the manufacturer recommends using the IWA-250 amplifier, which can drive two IWS-10 subwoofers at once, delivering up to 250 W into 4 ohms.
