Electro-Voice's EVID ceiling speaker range has been designed to work as a complete system in a wide range of different ceiling structures. They provide wide dispersion, high efficiency, maximum power, easy installation and wide range music or voice reproduction.
The Electro-Voice EVID-C4.2LP speaker system is a complete two-way ceiling loudspeaker in a very low profile cabinet. The loudspeaker is equipped with a titanium coated dome tweeter connected to a waveguide. The EVID-C4.2LP loudspeaker uses a 2nd order crossover network at 2.5 kHz, and a comprehensive protection circuit protects the network, woofers and tweeters from excessive power levels. The EVID-C4.2LP uses a transformer that allows you to select 1.88 (70V only), 3.75, 7.5 or 15W power delivered to the speaker system through 70V or 100V lines, or bypassing 8 ohms. The choice is made using a convenient switch on the front panel. The perforated grille is finished in semi-gloss white powder coated enamel. The front panel and bezel are made of ABS plastic with UL 94V-0 rating. The rear housing is made of galvanized steel plate. The low profile housing makes it easy to mount it in very narrow spaces. The side cover provides access to a 4-pin terminal block that allows you to connect speakers directly with 12-gauge wires and provides access to additional speakers. Certified by UL1480A and CSA 22.2 205.
