The EKX series combines legendary EV sound quality and reliability with the latest technology, all in a compact package suitable for a wide range of sound reinforcement applications, including musicians, DJs and live, club, installed sound.
Electro-Voice EKX-12 is a 1400W passive two-way loudspeaker. This speaker is housed in a durable and compact wooden cabinet with a durable EVCoat finish. The waveguide design of the Signal Synchronized Transducers (SST) provides accurate coverage and good audio quality at high SPLs. The 12" EVS-12M woofer, combined with the 1" DH-1M titanium compression driver, allows the EKX-12 2-way loudspeaker to deliver up to 131dB SPL. For ease of installation and transportation, the EKX-12 is equipped with eight mounting points with M10 thread. It can also be mounted on a stand or used as a floor monitor on stage.
