The Electro-Voice TX1122 is a powerful 2-way loudspeaker that can be used in a variety of applications where high quality sound reinforcement is required. The TX1122 uses a high performance DH3 1.25" titanium compression driver coupled to a 90° x 50° constant directivity horn. This combination provides a flat response down to 20 kHz and excellent beam control in short and medium frequency systems. The built-in 12" SMX2120 woofer features an FEA-optimized magnetic structure for very low distortion and maximum intelligibility at high SPL levels. The TX1122 has a number of features that make it suitable for both portable and fixed installations. The trapezoidal body is made from a combination of plywood and MDF. It is coated with EVCoat for maximum strength while maintaining low weight. The unique grille design is very durable, dent resistant and features a rotating logo. Two handles allow you to hold the TX1122 in various positions. The hole allows you to install the speaker on the rack. Six M8 threaded points allow the TX1122 to be hung in various positions. The recessed panel with two NL4 connectors allows you to hide the connectors and use the TX1122 with a subwoofer to reproduce extended sub-bass on one amplifier channel without additional processing.
