The Dynacord PSD215 is a high-performance subwoofer that features an integrated two-channel Class D power amplifier and a 24-bit DSP controller with 48-bit internal double-precision resolution, eliminating the need for external controllers and power amplifiers. The PSD 215 is equipped with a 15-inch Electro-Voice DVX3159 woofer, specifically designed for use in compact subwoofers. It sets a new standard for minimum size and maximum acoustic power, while maintaining impressive deep bass with high SPL.
The PSD 215 is a vented direct driver that has excellent transient response and is capable of delivering very high sound pressure levels. The body is made from heavily reinforced 15mm Baltic birch plywood with a protective coating to withstand the rigors of road use. Ergonomically shaped recessed handles provide ease of transport and adjustment. The top of the chassis includes a recessed rack adapter with M20 threads for mounting full-range systems on a rack.
All Dynacord power amplifiers are designed to withstand the rigors of touring and are protected against overheating, overloading, short circuiting, EMF feedback and open circuits, as well as RF or DC output. Thermal stability is ensured by an extremely quiet fan with continuously variable speed control. The PROTECT and LIMIT LED indicators display the current operating status of the power amplifiers. The built-in 24-bit digital controller with internal 48-bit double precision resolution has a 1 in 3 topology: SUB channel, TOP channel and additional DSP output. Stored factory presets are optimized for combinations with full-range Dynacord cabinets. There are also standard presets for other combinations and special programs for cardioid and low-frequency arrays. System equalization delay, polarity and, of course, level can be edited by the user. The system equalizer allows you to adjust the acoustics of the room.
