The Electro-Voice EKX-15SP is a powerful subwoofer designed for live performances by musicians and DJs. It features a 1300-watt Class D amplifier capable of delivering up to 133 dB peak SPL. The one-knob user interface and backlit LCD navigation screen make it easy to control the built-in, class-leading QuickSmartDSP. Cardioid Control technology allows the output signal to be directed towards the audience, while on stage when using multiple subwoofers it is reduced to 35 dB. Intelligent thermal management with variable speed fan, monitored by multiple built-in sensors, provides superior performance and reliability in challenging environments. The presence of two XLR outputs makes it easy to integrate the EKX-15SP with additional speaker systems and subwoofers. The subwoofer is equipped with large slot ports that help reduce distortion and expand the low-frequency range, as well as a metal amplifying grille.
