dB Technologies INGENIA IGS1 is a powerful active subwoofer designed to be combined with the top-of-the-line INGENIA series full-range systems and other acoustic solutions from the brand. Equipped with an 18-inch woofer with a 4-inch voice coil, the IGS1 reproduces deep and dense bass across a wide frequency range, from 36 Hz to the specified crossover point. The subwoofer is capable of reaching a maximum sound pressure level of 136 dB, making it the perfect choice for large live events, clubs, and installations.
The Class D amplifier with power factor correction (PFC) delivers 1600 watts RMS of power, ensures stable operation even with unstable voltage, and features high efficiency. Signal processing is performed by a 32-bit DSP with a sampling rate of 96 kHz, and a multi-mode limiting system protects the speaker from overload and overheating.
The subwoofer is fully integrated into the RDNet network and can be controlled in real time via the Aurora Net software for Windows and macOS. Thanks to fixed crossover frequencies (from 60 to 400 Hz), the device can be easily adapted to any setup. The mechanical design, featuring a sturdy plywood enclosure with a polyurethane coating, is complemented by four built-in handles, M20 threaded rack mount holes, and suspension points, allowing you to quickly configure the system for a variety of use cases.
