Active Subwoofer dB Technologies VIO S118R

The dB Technologies VIO S118R is a high-performance active subwoofer designed specifically for large-scale VIO systems that require powerful and controlled low-frequency extension. Equipped with an 18-inch woofer with a 4-inch voice coil and a powerful Digipro G4® Class D amplifier (1600 W RMS, 3200 W peak), this subwoofer guarantees deep bass and sound pressure up to 139 dB.

The amplifier supports PFC (power factor correction) and SMPS, ensuring stable operation even with unstable voltage. The preamplifier module is equipped with an RDNet card (included) that allows full monitoring and control via the Aurora Net software. In addition, the subwoofer is ready for integration into digital audio networks via an optional Dante™ card.

A detailed set of settings is provided on board: adjustable delay (up to 9.9 ms in 0.1 ms increments or up to 62 ms via RDNet), phase switch (0°/180°), cutoff frequency selection (60–110 Hz or Full Range), cardioid stack mode with built-in DSP processing for automatic rear radiation compensation.

The subwoofer is housed in a plywood enclosure with a polyurethane coating, has convenient aluminum handles, M20 threading for rack mounting, and comes with a rain cover. It is the ideal solution for rental companies and professional installations where high performance and reliability are required.
