Dynacord PSE218 is a passive version of the powerful PSD 218 subwoofer, without the power amplifier module and DSP controller of its active brother. However, it has the same dimensions, the same loudspeaker configuration and the same acoustic characteristics, making it the ideal companion for the PSD 218. The PSE 218 can also be used as a subwoofer in any other active system. The PSE 218 is a vented sub that has excellent transient response and is capable of delivering very high sound pressure levels. The cabinet is made from heavily reinforced 15mm Baltic birch plywood with a protective coating to withstand the rigors of shipping. Ergonomically shaped recessed handles provide ease of transport and adjustment. The top of the chassis includes a recessed rack adapter with M20 threads for mounting full-range systems on a rack.
