The BX3 construction is based on an acoustically inert MDF cabinet that effectively dampens unwanted resonances. Low-frequency reproduction is handled by 3.5-inch black Kevlar drivers, characterized by their strength and lightweight nature, while extended rear bass reflex ports add depth and richness to the sound. High frequencies are transmitted through 1-inch natural silk dome tweeters, equipped with a computer-optimized waveguide to create a precise stereo image and clear detail.

To adapt the sound to the acoustic characteristics of the room, High-EQ and Low-EQ controls are provided on the rear panel. A unique functional feature of this model is the "Left/Right Active Speaker Position" switch, which allows the user to choose which side (left or right) the active monitor with the volume control will be placed. This ensures maximum ergonomics and workflow convenience regardless of user preference.

The M-Audio BX3 connectivity panel offers a full range of interfaces for connecting various equipment. The presence of 1/4” TRS, 1/8”, and RCA inputs allows you to connect the monitors to audio interfaces, computers, or mixers. Additionally, an Aux input (1/8”) for quick connection of mobile devices and a headphone output are located on the front panel, making the system a versatile tool for work and leisure at any time of day.
