The Dynaudio LYD 8 is an active near-field studio monitor designed for professional use where accuracy and power are key. Featuring an 8-inch MSP woofer and 1.1-inch tweeter, this monitor provides a wide frequency response from 45 Hz to 22 kHz, allowing for detailed sound across the full spectrum. A Class D amplifier with 80W of woofer and 50W of tweeter power ensures stable performance even at high sound levels, reaching a maximum SPL of 112dB.
The LYD 8 is equipped with a state-of-the-art DSP that allows you to adapt the bass response to different room conditions. With three-position bass and sound balance switches, as well as a two-position monitor position switch, you can achieve neutral sound whether the monitor is placed against a wall or in an open space.
The monitor is designed with all the nuances of studio work in mind. The MSP woofer driver with a lightweight aluminum voice coil and ventilated ferrite magnet guarantees exceptional bass accuracy and detail. A rear phase inverter helps to minimize distortion. The cabinet is available in two elegant finishes: Black Satin and White Satin to add style to your studio.
