The Genelec 8331A is an innovative three-way near-field studio monitor from The Ones series that combines revolutionary technology with high-fidelity audio reproduction. One of the key features of the Genelec 8331A is the use of Acoustically Concealed Woofers (ACW™) technology, which hides the woofers, providing better sound wave management and reduced diffraction. The Minimal Diffraction Coaxial (MDC™) technology and Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW™) ensure stable and uniform sound regardless of listener position, which is especially important for professional monitoring. With minimal distortion and high detail, this monitor is an ideal choice for applications requiring high fidelity reproduction, such as music studios, film studios, or post-production facilities.
The Genelec 8331A supports Smart Active Monitoring (SAM™) technology, which automatically adjusts the monitor to the acoustic characteristics of the room using Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM™ 2.0) software. The AutoCal™ system automatically adjusts the frequency response for perfect performance in any environment.
This monitor is powered by three separate Class D amplifiers providing a total of 144 watts of power (2 x 36 watts for highs and mids and 72 watts for lows), which ensures a flexible and powerful sound. The monitor also features advanced switching capabilities, including an analog AES/EBU balanced input and RJ45 ports for network control.
