The Genelec 8340APM is a professional active two-way studio monitor designed to deliver high-fidelity audio reproduction in studios of all sizes. Its compact design and advanced technology make it ideal for challenging acoustic environments. Equipped with a built-in digital processor and Class D amplifiers, the 8340APM delivers 150 watts of power to each of its two drivers. This model supports a frequency range from 45 Hz to 20 kHz and can deliver sound pressure levels up to 110 dB, making it versatile for both studio monitoring and audio-visual projects.
The monitor is equipped with a one-inch woofer and one-inch tweeter, which ensures accurate and clear reproduction of both high and low frequencies. Smart Active Monitor (SAM™) technology automatically adjusts the monitors to the acoustic characteristics of the room. The Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM™) software, together with AutoCal™, provides fine-tuning of the frequency response to compensate for problem areas in the room and deliver clear, accurate sound in any environment.
Thanks to Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW™) technology, the Genelec 8340APM has enhanced directional control that minimizes wall reflections and provides an accurate stereo panorama. The die-cast aluminum enclosure with Minimum Diffraction Enclosure (MDE™) technology reduces distortion and provides high transducer sensitivity.
The monitor is also equipped with Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS™), which automatically puts the device into Stand By mode, reducing power consumption. Additionally, the Iso-Pod™ stands allow you to adjust the monitor's angle for optimal positioning in the room. This monitor can be easily mounted to the wall with its versatile mounting options.
