The Genelec 8341A is a premium three-way active near-field studio monitor that is part of The Ones series. This monitor is designed to provide high-fidelity audio reproduction with an extended frequency range and maximum clarity and detail. It is ideal for use in professional studios where long, continuous, distortion-free audio playback is required. The 8341A features both horizontal and vertical orientation, making it versatile for a variety of environments.
This monitor utilizes innovative technologies such as Acoustically Concealed Woofers (ACW™), which hide the woofers to reduce diffraction and improve sound wave management. Minimum Diffraction Coaxial (MDC™) technology minimizes distortion, ensuring a stable sound picture across the entire frequency spectrum. A high level of detail is provided by Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW™) technology, which improves the directionality and dispersion of sound, providing an accurate stereo panorama.
The Genelec 8341A supports Smart Active Monitoring (SAM™) technology, which automatically adjusts the monitor to the characteristics of the room using Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM™) software. This allows for precise frequency response tuning and compensation for problem areas of the room using the AutoCal™ system.
The monitor is equipped with three Class D amplifiers with a total power output of 550 W (250 W for bass, 150 W for midrange and 150 W for tweeter). With a peak SPL of 118 dB, the Genelec 8341A delivers incredible power and sound detail even at high volume levels. Built-in switching capabilities include AES/EBU support and a versatile wall or ceiling mount.
