The IK Multimedia iLoud Precision MTM MKII represents an evolutionary step in professional audio monitoring, combining the compact MTM (Mid-Woofer-Tweeter-Mid-Woofer) form factor with advanced digital signal processing technologies. The monitor is designed to ensure absolute linearity of phase and frequency responses, guaranteeing time coherence and natural transient reproduction. This allows sound engineers to work for extended periods without ear fatigue, achieving a maximally detailed soundstage with precise instrument positioning in the stereo field.

The model's architecture is based on two woofers (5" each) with ultralight paper cones and a single tweeter (1") with a graphene-reinforced textile dome. This combination ensures minimal distortion and exceptional micro-dynamics. The new cabinet is crafted from high-density fiberboard (HDF) with an improved internal bracing system, effectively suppressing resonances to ensure sonic purity across the entire range. The Class-D amplification section delivers a total of 175W RMS, allowing the monitors to reach deep bass down to 37 Hz (-4 dB) without the need for a subwoofer.

A key feature of the system is its deep integration with ARC X technology—a built-in solution for automatic room acoustic calibration. Using the included MEMS measurement microphone, the monitor's processor analyzes the acoustic environment and instantly adapts the frequency response to compensate for room anomalies. This ensures reference monitoring accuracy of ±1 dB from 45 Hz to 30 kHz, regardless of placement.

The iLoud Precision MTM MKII offers expanded emulation capabilities thanks to the X-MONITOR software. Users can switch between profiles of over 20 legendary studio monitors and consumer playback devices, checking mix translation on different sources without changing hardware. The package includes special iLoud Isolation Pods that mechanically decouple the speaker system from the desk surface, minimizing vibrations and improving sound clarity.
