It is possible to switch between the DJ mode, which provides punchy sound suitable for DJ applications, and the Production mode, which provides a flat frequency response that faithfully reproduces the input sound. The 4" woofer delivers powerful sound without distortion, even when you turn up the volume. The woofer and tweeter are perfectly matched, so you'll hear all sound frequencies clearly. Every DM Series monitor delivers clear, balanced bass sound thanks to a new Class D amplifier with 96kHz DSP. Another improvement over the DM-40 is the redesigned DECO cone, which helps deliver crystal clear high frequencies in all directions. The RCA and Mini Jack sockets can be used to connect a variety of equipment, such as DJ controllers and mixers, as well as a laptop or sound card. Headphones are connected through the connector on the front panel, where the volume control is also located.
