Studio monitors of the HS series from the Yamaha brand are highly trusted by leading producers and sound engineers from around the world. The HS3 is a great tool for a wide range of audio-related jobs.
A feature of this model is the small dimensions of the monitors, which are 132 x 223 x 189 mm and 132 x 223 x 177 mm with a weight of 2.8 + 2.1 kg. Such dimensions were achieved as a result of using one high-quality class D amplifier for two monitors.
This model is equipped with a woofer with a diameter of 3.5 inches and a high-frequency dome speaker with a diameter of 0.75 inches. Despite their small size, the monitors reproduce sound in the range of 70 Hz - 22 kHz, provide the correct sound, and perfectly convey the space.
The sound of the monitors is affected by the room and the location of the monitors, so the ROOM CONTROL and HIGH TRIM functions are provided on the rear panel to adjust the sound characteristics. It is possible to connect using combo XLR/TRS, RCA, and stereo mini connectors.
