The Genelec 8010AW studio monitor is a compact speaker system specifically designed for use in studio environments. Its portable and minimalist design makes this monitor is ideal choice for mobile studios, musicians, sound engineers, and other recording professionals.
The monitor is equipped with a built-in 25 W Class D active amplifier, one for each driver. The speaker size is 3 inches for the bass and 0.75 inches for the tweeter. The frequency range is 74 Hz – 20 kHz.
This monitor boasts Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW) technology used to optimize the direction of sound emission, delivering accurate and consistent sound. Intelligent Signal Sensing (ISS) technology implements efficient power management by automatically putting the monitor into sleep mode if there is no audio signal for a certain period. In this case, when the sound signal is detected again, the monitor automatically wakes up. This intelligent circuitry contributes to significant energy savings by maintaining high performance during active use and automatically switching to standby mode during periods of inactivity.
