The GOKA GK-R36A alignment protractor ensures precise alignment of the vinyl player cartridge for optimal sound quality and to prevent premature wear of records. It is made of white acrylic and features a hole for the turntable spindle.
The usage process is very simple: the cartridge should be mounted in the tonearm head, but not too tightly, to allow for movement. Then, place the protractor on the turntable spindle and align the stylus over point “A” as marked on the protractor. Next, align the cartridge so that its sides are parallel to the lines on the protractor. Repeat these actions for point “B”. Finally, make sure that the cartridge angle is identical over both points and tighten the screws to securely fix the cartridge in the tonearm head.
