The Pro-Ject VPO 175 cartridge is a collaboration with Ortofon based on their top-of-the-line Cadenza series. It was developed by Heinz Lichtenegger and Leif Johannsen to perfectly reproduce stringed instruments. This cartridge was originally only available with a limited edition turntable for the 175th anniversary of the Vienna Philharmonic. The body is made of a unique alloy with very good damping properties and is carefully polished.
