The Ortofon CC MKII Mix stylus is a replacement needle with a spherical tip radius of 18 μm, providing a secure and snug fit thanks to tactile feedback during installation. A special cut-out at the front allows for highly accurate needle drops onto the record.
The recommended tracking force is 3 g, with a range of 2 to 4 g. The stylus weight is 1 g, which reduces the load on the tonearm.
