The main disc on which the record is played should be heavy and non-resonant. The Debut Carbon EVO solves this problem by using a proven 12-inch steel disc, which is now coated on the outer edge on the underside with an anti-resonant thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). The result is a heavier disc with minimal noise, which is transmitted to a carefully designed main bearing and underplate. The additional rotating mass enhances the flywheel effect, reducing wah and flutter effects, increasing stability and dampening resonance.
