The legendary Debut III from Pro-Ject is back! This is the design that made Pro-Ject famous at the end of the last century and has been sold by the thousands around the world. It was a time when discerning listeners were unhappy with the CDs common at the time, and audiophiles were looking for an affordable way to get vinyl back. Released in 1999, the original Debut filled a gap in the affordable market at a time when many thought vinyl was dead and buried. Instead, the Austrian company is in an ideal position to capitalize on the vinyl renaissance in recent years. The new Debut III models confirm the company's new position in the mid-range market – Pro-Ject now offers even more competitively priced turntables aimed at new and resurgent vinyl enthusiasts alike.

The Pro-Ject Debut III Phono 3-speed turntable is designed with aesthetic, technical and performance simplicity in mind, designed to make it easier to get the purest sound from vinyl. To achieve this, the turntable uses an MDF cabinet, a steel platter over an anti-resonant sub-platter, and a belt-driven motor with TPE suspension to minimize vibration. Device control is simple and ready to go right out of the box. An Ortofon OM5e stereo MM cartridge is factory installed. The steel disc is covered with a felt mat and mounted on a hub with a chrome-plated stainless steel spindle that rotates on a polished brass-cased ball bearing. The entire structure rests on the surface with four rubber-coated damping conical feet. The tonearm is equipped with an anti-skating system and has a characteristic suspension weight. The design of the tonearm is well thought out. It is possible to adjust the azimuth of the pickup head. The mount uses an inverted precision bearing. By means of a belt drive, the torque is transmitted from the motor to the disc support hub. Critical elements have been designed and machined with precision and care. The goal is to simplify the design as much as possible, focusing solely on improving the sound of records.

Super convenient built-in phono preamplifier

The Debut III Phono features a built-in phono preamp that also transmits via Bluetooth to nearby receivers (a welcome feature in the Debut line). It is important to note that, if desired, the phono stage can be bypassed, which allows you to choose the time of its inclusion, depending on the operating conditions. If you are already using a phono stage you like, simply turn off the built-in stage using the switch located on the side of the junction box. The phono stage allows you to connect your turntable directly to any line-level input, allowing you to listen in a wide variety of conditions.
