The Pro-Ject Essential III RecordMaster is a modern classic that delivers great sound at a very attractive price. Featuring high-quality parts such as a diamond-cut aluminum drive pulley, a low-resonance MDF cabinet and plate, and a high-precision main bearing, the turntable delivers a lively, highly engaging sound that will impress any vinyl lover. The Essential III RecordMaster is equipped with a quality phono preamplifier, electronic speed control and a USB output for PC or MAC recording.
Both the body and the platter are made of resonance sensitive MDF, the latter covered with a high quality felt mat. As for the arm, it is an 8.6" solid aluminum movement with sapphire bearings and a pre-installed Ortofon OM10 cartridge. An upgrade from the OM5E cartridge in the Essential II, the OM10 cartridge features a thinner, rounded stylus that is designed to penetrate deeper into the groove for even greater detail.
