The Pro-Ject Primary E Phono is a turntable with a built-in phono preamp, ideal for connecting to powerful loudspeaker systems and systems that do not have a phono input. The package also includes a hinged dust cover and a pre-installed Ortofon OM NN moving magnet cartridge. The silicone drive belt and low vibration synchronous motor are powered by a built-in DC-AC generator for quiet operation. Thanks to the thoughtful design of the tonearm, it was possible to combine pure sound quality with ease of setup. The Plug & Play design with downforce pre-setting and anti-skating for the included Ortofon OM cartridge saves money and makes it extremely efficient to work with.
No compromise on sound, on the contrary, the lightweight, low-friction aluminum tonearm is optimized to work with the Ortofon cartridge and maximize its potential. In addition, the vibration-absorbing feet isolate the turntable from the surface on which it is placed and provide the best possible sound. The Primary E Phono features a switchable phono/line output, so it can be used with either an external phono preamp or the built-in phono preamp connected to the line input. Thanks to the thoughtful design and the absence of unnecessary functions, it was possible to maintain an attractive price, despite the fact that this product is handmade in Europe.
