The Rega Planar 2 is a modern vinyl record player that combines classic design with the latest technology. This player has undergone improvements over 2 years of development and offers maximum quality for playing your vinyl collection.
The body of the Planar 2 player is made of wood covered with red glossy paint and has a minimalist classic design. The platform is made of "Optiwhite" glass with a thickness of 10 mm, which improves the accuracy of reproduction. Also, in this version, the foots were improved, which better isolates the player from the surface on which it is placed and increases its stability.
The Planar 2 is equipped with an RB220 tonearm. It features new performance-enhancing features. 11mm self-locking brass bearing provides a better fit and reduces bearing stress. Rega's new 24V motor is characterized by low noise and vibration, as well as a new circuit board. A Rega Carbon cartridge is included as standard with all Planar 2s for easy connection.
It is also worth noting that the set comes with a dust cover that protects the player from dust and preserves its appearance.
