Boombox is a Ukrainian band founded in 2004 in Kyiv. Main members: vocalist Andriy Khlyvnyuk, guitarist Andriy Samoilo (known as "Mukha") and DJ Valik. They play in the styles of hip-hop, funk and funky grooves. The debut album "Melomania" was recorded in a record 19 hours and was released in 2005. Their next album "Family Business" went gold, selling more than 100,000 copies. One of the band's most famous songs is "Vahteram". The band is also part of the association of independent musicians "Vdoh".
The album "Terminal B" was the fifth studio release of the Ukrainian band Boombox and was released at the end of September 2013. The recording of this album lasted for almost a year, from August 2012 to August 2013. It combines songs from various genres, including reggae, funk and rock. The album also featured Dmytro Shurov, who played the Rhodes piano in the song "Kohana". After the release of "Terminal B", the band went on a tour of Ukraine. The album continued the Boombox tradition, combining lyrical lyrics with energetic music. This release became an important part of their discography, demonstrating their development and ability to experiment with different genres.
