Druha Rika is one of the most successful rock bands in Ukraine. Over the 27 years of their existence, they have released 12 studio albums, 5 live albums, and 3 collections. Their songs have repeatedly become hits and topped the Ukrainian charts. The band was founded in 1996 in Zhytomyr. Initially, it was called "Druha Rika", but soon the name was shortened to "Druha Rika". The band plays pop-rock with elements of new wave, post-punk, Brit-pop and indie rock. "Druha Rika is known for its energetic concerts and bright sound. They are one of the most popular rock bands in Ukraine and have a large army of fans. Druha Rika's music is often about social and personal issues. The band often writes about love, friendship, loyalty, and the struggle for their ideas. The band's songs have been named Song of the Year three times at the TV festival of the same name. DR also represented Ukraine at international festivals.

Pyramid is the seventh album by Druha Rika, released in 2017. The record took first place on Google Play and received positive reviews from critics and fans. In Pyramid, Druha Rika experiments with new sounds, adding elements of electronic music and wind instruments to her traditional rock sound. The song "The Seventh Day" from the Pyramid album became the anthem of a large multimedia project called "I, Nina" dedicated to the fight against cancer. As part of this project, a book was published, a movie was shot, and a music video was created. The album Pyramid was an important milestone in the work of Druha Rika. It demonstrated that the band does not stand still and continues to develop, experimenting with new sounds and themes.
