Description

Elton John (Sir Elton Hercules John) is an outstanding British singer, pianist, and composer. He received high praise from both critics and fellow musicians, especially for his work during the 1970s and for his lasting impact on the music industry as a whole. Starting with the formation of the blues group Bluesology in 1962, John quickly developed his music career. After meeting Bernie Taupin in 1967, they began writing songs together, and John released his debut album "Empty Sky" in 1969. However, it was in the 1970s that his breakthrough came when his albums began to dominate the charts in the USA and the UK, starting with "Honky Château" (1972) and ending with "Rock of the Westies" (1975). His hit single "Your Song" became a true breakthrough, establishing him as one of the most significant musicians of his time. Elton John became famous for his unique voice, high skill in piano playing, and unmatched stage energy. His music remains popular and influential to this day, and his contribution to world music culture is extremely important.

Made in England is the twenty-fourth studio album by British musician Elton John, released in 1995. It is his first work since Leather Jackets, which he created without producer Chris Thomas – this time, Greg Penny co-produced. The album is dedicated to his partner David Furnish and to the memory of Denis Gauthier and Peter Williams. This is the last album to feature the band's longtime percussionist Ray Cooper until his return in 2016. It is also the album where Bob Birch became Elton John's main bassist for studio recordings and tours until his death in 2012. The song "Please" from the album was covered by Rhonda Vincent and Dolly Parton for the 2018 tribute album Restoration. The album includes songs that became part of the Made in England tour playlist, such as "Believe", "Made in England", "House", "Blessed", "Lies", and "Pain". Notable musicians like Paul Buckmaster, George Martin, and Paul Carrack worked on the album as well.

The album contains 11 tracks.
