Selena Gomez is an American singer, songwriter, actress, producer and entrepreneur. She began her career as a child actress, starring in the children's television series Barney and Friends (2002–2004). Then, as a music artist, she signed a contract with Hollywood Records in 2008 and formed the pop rock group Selena Gomez & the Scene, where she performed as a vocalist. The band released three studio albums and seven singles. After that, Gomez moved on to a solo career. Her EDM-inspired debut album Stars Dance (2013) brought her international success with the hit single Come & Get It. She signed with Interscope Records and released the electropop album Revival (2015), which included the popular hits "Good for You", "Same Old Love" and "Hands to Myself". Her latest album Rare (2020) topped the charts in 11 countries and included the single "Lose You to Love Me", which became her first number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and Canadian Hot 100.

The album "Rare" is the third studio release of the American singer Selena Gomez. It was released on January 10, 2020 under Interscope Records. Selena served as executive producer on the album and collaborated with numerous producers such as Ian Kirkpatrick, Jason Evigan, Mattman & Robin, Sir Nolan, Simon Says, The Monsters & Strangerz and David Pramik. "Rare" topped the charts in several countries, including the US, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Mexico, Norway, Portugal and Scotland.
