Peter Gregson is a distinguished cellist and composer born in 1987 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He was educated at the Edinburgh Academy and the Royal Academy of Music. Gregson has gained notoriety for his unique film scores, most notably his work on the score for 2015's A Little Chaos, which earned him widespread acclaim. In addition, he has also performed works by composers of various genres and collaborated with leading technology companies such as Microsoft Labs, UnitedVisualArtists, Reactify and MIT Media Lab.
"Recomposed By Peter Gregson: Bach - The Cello Suites" is a unique creative project of Peter Gregson, in which he undertook to rethink and re-orchestrate the famous cello suites of J.S. Bach This album was released on October 19, 2018 and is an experimental interpretation of classical works featuring 5 cellists, analog synthesizers and solo cello. His work allows you to experience the majesty and beauty of the original works in a new way, giving them a modern sound.
