Ice Cube (O'Shea Jackson Sr.) is an American rapper, songwriter, actor, and film producer. He became popular as a member of the group N.W.A, where his lyrics on the album Straight Outta Compton (1989) made an important contribution to the development of gangsta rap. After leaving the group in 1989 due to financial disagreements, Ice Cube began a successful solo career, releasing politically charged albums AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted (1990), Death Certificate (1991), and The Predator (1992). In 2016, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of N.W.A. In addition to music, Ice Cube built an impressive film career, debuting in the movie Boyz n the Hood (1991), and later becoming famous for the comedy Friday (1995) and its sequels. He also worked as a director, producer, and executive producer on more than 40 films, including Three Kings, the Barbershop series, Ride Along, and 21 Jump Street.

Everythang's Corrupt (stylized as Everythangs Corrupt) is the tenth studio album by American rapper Ice Cube, released on December 7, 2018, by Lench Mob and Interscope Records. It is his first studio album since the release of I Am the West in 2010, although the album was originally set to be released in 2015. The first single from the album, Everythang's Corrupt, was released on YouTube on October 31, 2012, and on digital platforms on January 1, 2013. The second single, Arrest the President, was released on November 9, 2018, and the third, That New Funkadelic, was released on December 4, 2018. The album debuted at number 62 on the Billboard 200 chart.
